We Make Music…
Most of us have at least a few favorite songs, but not that many people understand all it takes to make these great songs come to life. During my now more than 50 years in the Christian Music Industry, I have learned that this process always requires three things:
A gifted artist with a God-given calling
A strong production team (talented musicians, engineers, and singers)
Enough cash to professionally record each great new song
If you are one of these gifted artists, songwriters, or worship leaders (whether you are well-known or just getting started), you are likely surrounded by friends, family, and other donors who want to help you pay these recording costs. Writing and recording a song is just the beginning. Getting your new song heard is the only way to impact those who need to hear what God is pouring out through your music.
Moving Songs From Obscurity To Opportunity
A few years ago, the Lord directed me to create a new streaming service that would “Connect worship leaders and worshipers with the very best new songs of worship.”

The name Worship Underground was inspired by the story of thousands of slaves who were literally transported from “obscurity to opportunity” during the pre-Civil War era through a network of courageous people who formed the “Underground Railroad.”
